The ORBlogs team is working hard to bring new features to the
site. Here are some of the latest...
Click the "Turn On WatchDog" link (found below each article) to command your WatchDog to alert you to the important changes to that article. When the WatchDog is "on" an article, you'll receive e-mail alerts when other users post comments to that article's BarkBoard, and if/when the article makes it to the front page of ORBlogs.
You can also go to your profile "settings" and turn on the auto-watch features, to have the stories you post and/or comment on automatically assigned a WatchDog.
Users can now earn a "Top Dog" designation by being active in the posting of quality articles. If you post at least a couple stories per week, and the majority of them are well-rated (receive several barks) - then you can become a "Top Dog". Top Dog users automatically receive a bonus bark point when their stories are posted. This lets other users identify the stories that are most likely to be worth the time to read.
Blog feeds can earn a "Top Dog" status as well. If you have "added your blog to ORBlogs", and the majority of your blog postings are highly-rated, then your blog may be rated a "Top Dog Blog".
Look for the "TopDog" designation icons next to the articles and comments posted by ORBlogs's quality posters.
